Hiking Club
Hiking Club
Mission: The goal for which the hiking club was founded was to further a feeling of outdoor adventure, mental well-being, and physical fitness adventure by means of organizing group hikes in the mountains. Members are given a chance to traverse environments outdoors, form friendships among fellow hikers, and advance a deeper love for nature and efforts and its conversation. In addition, the hiking club furthers an encouraging community in which individuals of all skill levels are able to come together in order to enjoy the outdoors and have themselves physically challenged while at the same time motivating care for the environment. Hiking club also has the goal of teaching valuable skills relating to the outdoors which include safety practices and navigation in order to make sure that members can explore nature with confidence. It is through these experiences shared by members by which the club assists in forming long-lasting friendships.
